Useful information to have ready
A short timeline is helpful: when the signs began, how often they return, what treatment was given and what changed afterward. Mention urine leakage during sleep or rest, skin irritation and any other health conditions.
Do not stop prescribed medicines or start leftover antibiotics in preparation for the appointment. Ask the treating veterinarian if sample timing or current treatment needs to be discussed.

Please seek urgent care if your dog cannot urinate
Repeated straining with little or no urine, collapse, marked pain or rapid deterioration needs prompt hands-on veterinary attention. Do not wait for this form or an email reply.
If your dog is already receiving postoperative care, follow the urgent contact arrangements in the discharge instructions.
